For those interested in the Famine, Waterford County Museum have published the entire contents of their book 'Desperate Haven' online. Over four years of research went into the book prior to its publication, and it contains over 400 pages of text and illustrations.

Lewis's Topographical Survey was published in 1837. These extracts contain topography, population details, industrial and historical information for Waterford.
