Tyneside Irish Cap BadgeThe badge shown here as being a Tyneside Irish Cap Badge is in fact a reproduction and was worn on the shoulder strap. The strings of the harp are solid, in the original, the strings can be seen through. The Tyneside Irish wore the Northumberland Fusiliers Cap Badge. The harp was worn on the shoulder strap with the battalion number and the letters NF, eg 24/HARP/NF.
