Samuel Lewis's Topographical Dictionary was first published in 1837. We have reproduced the City and County of Waterford section in its entirity on the site. The opinions, views and spellings are Mr. Lewis's own and present an excellent picture of the County as seen by a gentleman in the 19th Century.
