Taken during the 1940s, this short piece of film shows Home Rule Street (formerly Queen Victoria Street) in Abbeyside. A group of children are playing in the street. The thatched cottages have since been demolished. A postcard of Home Rule Street from circa 1905 is currently for sale in the museum.
